Media Project Manager

Looking for someone who is self-motivated, well organized, able to multi-task and demonstrates exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.  Must be an effective problem solver and is adept at anticipating problems and recognizing opportunities. This person is a conscientious team player, a good organizer and also demonstrates excellent accountability, initiative and a take-charge attitude.

A Project Manager works with members of a specific client team(s) and activation teams to manage and facilitate project plans, schedules, resources and general workflow on a day-to-day basis. This person has a high level of understanding of agency processes with experienced planning abilities.  

Duties:

  • Manage internal tasks, timelines and deliverables for multiple projects concurrently, from inception through activation to help make sure that deadlines are met by all participating parties and projects pace to be delivered on time and within estimated hours.
  • Monitor and ensure all client and campaign documents are followed and provided to all team members and clients.
  • Attend kick off meetings to facilitate scheduling of entire project; attend internal and external status meetings and send outstanding timelines/ownership following meeting.
  • Support Account Planner in billing process by bringing in team members to provide clarity and explanation on any items in question in time to meet required billing windows.
  • Facilitate communications between agency functions (accounting, activation teams, RADaR) on assigned projects.
  • Run and interpret required reports from accounting software to monitor overall health of client including budget management (post approval) compared to authorizations, campaign profit and loss, time entry by function and invoice reconciliation, etc. 

Required Skills, Experience and Education: 

  • Must be able to multi-task, be detail oriented, organized and analytical
  • Strong verbal, math and written communication skills
  • Proficient with computers, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to problem solve and think creatively to overcome obstacles
  • Able to work within a team environment while handling multiple projects with deadlines
  • Previous agency internship and/or less than two years agency experience preferred OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
